looking for a Technical Sales Representative. We

Job
Summary:
Technical Sales Position responsible for maintaining
and
generating new sales through sales and technical
service,
problem solving, review of processes and
equipment,
explanation of value added products and
relationship
building. The position requires the individual to
be
familiar with solids handling, and process systems.
Essential Functions
Qualify
sales leads in territory for specific applications
and execute sales
strategies aligned with overall business
strategies
Assist with new equipment quotations, with an emphasis on
timely
responses and error-free execution.
Develop and implement
individual customer strategies for
fabricators and for
customers.
Interpret technical specifications and
commercial
requirements.
Promote company's products to
obtain orders from existing
accounts in region
Develop
and obtain orders from new accounts in region.
Prepare formal
quotations that reflect current pricing
strategies with the optimum
engineered solution.
Participate in industry trade associations;
preparing,
exhibiting, presenting products or
applications
Identify current and future industry needs and trends
by
developing
and maintaining a network of contacts
with customers,
distributors, and other suppliers to the
industry.
Plan and coordinate regular sales calls with key
customers
and potential customers.
Clearly
articulate product functionalities and advantages
to engage
prospect.
Coordinate new product development opportunities
and
criteria with Technology associates
Assist with lab applications and formulations when
appropriate.
Monitor trials to exhibit product performance,
document and
communicate results to Management and Technical
people,
collectively create plans for next step forward.
Negotiate price, terms, delivery, logistics, etc.
Manage sales
of current products and services with existing
customers,
coordinating with business, technology, supply
chain, and customer
service.
Distribute call reports and document significant
changes
with customers, products, markets
Manage
expense budget
Continue to grow capabilities
Embrace new
technologies, innovative sales tools, and creative
ideas.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Education /
Qualifications
Bachelors degree preferred, Technical
Degree and Mathematics
knowledge.
Minimum
5 years Prior sales experience with dry solids
handling and
extrusion required.
Communication Skills written and
oral; clearly conveys
information
and expresses ideas
through a variety of media to
individuals or groups (Fluent Spanish
is an advantage)
Computer skills sufficient to
effectively use all
available programs associated with the
position.
Organization Skills- An action oriented and
highly motivated
style with the ability for making clear and timely
decisions
within the appropriate limits of authority. Ability
to
prioritize and organize assigned work. Self
starter.
Technical acumen to effectively propose
solutions to
customer's problems through the use of company's
products
Physical- Capable of lifting and carrying 50
pounds. Capable
of traveling to customer locations, capable of monitoring
fabrication
operations.
